Storytime in County Meath Libraries

Make sure to check out your local library and find out what classes and events that they run throughout the year. Your local library branch is a wonderful - and free - resource for families. Many of the branches run parent and toddler groups, storytelling sessions, arts and crafts classes, book clubs, chess clubs, games and activities sessions and so on. Not to mention the fact that there is free computer access and the option to borrow books and DVDs!

Here is a list of the Meath libraries branches that are currently offering storytelling sessions for smallies:

* Bring your child along for games, activities and story time in Ashbourne Library. The group meets from 10am to 12 noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays,  there is also a stories and songs session with Mary, which begins at 11.45am. Ask at the library desk for details.

* Children under the age of five are invited to come along to Dunboyne Library every Friday from 11am to 12 noon for the Storytime Session.

* Parent & Toddler Hour takes place in Navan Library every Wednesday from 10.15am to 11.15am and pre-schoolers will enjoy an hour of stories, colouring and playtime.

* Oldcastle Library hosts Parent & Toddler Stories and Playtime for under fives every Wednesday morning at 10.30am.

* There is a Story Time & Fun Hour session every Tuesday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in Trim Library, aimed at ages six and under.
